I have been in the construction field for twenty-two years. I recently launched ForceBuilders.com as a way to heighten awareness of the onsite environment and safety needs around the country. I would like to use ForceBuilders.com as a jumping off point to launch other construction related sites.
I see a strong need to tie our working environments into more socialized communication. The best vehicle we have to achieve this is the computer. I know there are many construction websites that address the construction professional. However in twenty-two years as a construction worker I have seen very few of theses professionals do any of the actual work in the field.
We have a huge lack of interest in the people performing the work and tend too think that training some person in an office will solve the problems we have in construction, with safety and the environmental issues. I tend to disagree with this view, as I am sure most other intelligent people do. We need to get out into the fields and out of the offices.

What specialties do you have in your area of expertise?

On site application, working with mix deigns of concrete.
Proper application and treating as well as quality control and environmental best management practices

Interesting Fact

I believe what separates and makes me personally interesting is my lack of college. Many people seem to be amazed with the amount of knowledge that I have related to the environment, as it exist on the jobsite. In addition, many people who are vastly more educated then I am come to me to answer the simplest of work related questions. The reason I launched ForceBuilders.com was directly related to this fact.
