I heard on the news this morning that 25% of Washington's stimulus money (a little over a billion dollars) is in the state's coffers and making its way into stimulus projects.
-Are you working on any stimulus projects?
-If so, what changes did you make in your approach to bidding that led to your winning the contract?
-Are you making changes to you operations practices in anticipation of increased scrutiny from the government and/or the media?
What world do you folks live in?
This so called stimulus is a joke. As a contractor, i associate with other contractors and network with alot of people in the industry. Not one that I have discussed this with have had any positive effect on their work because of this so called stimulus.
The only projects that I have heard of that are paid for by so called stimulus money is highway and road work. Yes sir thats really going to help me feed my family. The only folks I see that helping is the south of the border folks.
